Handicaps

New members need to hand in three cards to the Competiton Secretary to obtain a handicap, this handicap will then be placed on the central handicap database and a CDH number will be provided.

This confirms your handicap when visiting other golf clubs and confirms your membership of Bargoed Golf Club. Once you have a registered handicap you are free to enter all club competitions.

The World Handicap System went live on November 2nd 2020.

Initial handicap indexes were allocated by Wales Golf from your best 8 scores out of 20 over a 2 year period.
